Burning Man logistics differ from other festival rentals. Realistic planning beats rigid timing.
Entry Timing & Gate Delays
Black Rock City entry lines can extend for several hours — significantly longer in some years depending on arrival windows and weather. We recommend avoiding peak gate rush periods, planning fuel for extended idling, allowing flexible arrival windows, and monitoring official gate updates before departure.
Gate closures, whiteouts, and weather affect schedules. In challenging years, when operationally possible, additional buffer time for entry or exit may be accommodated within the package without penalty. Our approach prioritizes realistic planning over rigid timing.

Placement in
Black Rock City
RV placement is coordinated within your registered camp footprint. No formal pads or utility hookups exist on playa. Renters are responsible for positioning within their assigned camp space. Leveling blocks and pre-departure orientation guidance are provided as standard.
Playa Dust & Return Condition
Playa dust is extremely fine and alkaline — it enters through vents, seals, and any small opening. Standard post-event cleaning is in the package. Extreme cleaning applies only in rare cases of excessive buildup or interior damage, capped at $900. Most returns don't require this.
