1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Quote and contact forms: your name, phone number, email address, RV size preference, check-in and check-out dates, the service you need, and anything you write in the message field.

Trip details: your destination or campsite (for example, your Newport Dunes site number), how many people are coming including children's ages, how many pets, and any add-on you choose.

Calls, emails and text messages: the content of your messages and the phone number or email address you use.

Rental information: information needed to complete a rental, which may include the names and ages of drivers, driver's license details, insurance information, tow-vehicle details, a signed rental agreement, and photos of the RV's condition at pickup and return.

Consignment program: if you offer your RV for consignment, your contact details and information about your RV.

Payment information

Bookings made through the booking calendar on our Site are processed by Outdoorsy. Bookings made on other rental platforms (such as RVshare or RVezy) are processed by those platforms. These companies collect your payment card details directly, under their own privacy policies. We do not store full payment card numbers on our Site.

Vehicle location (GPS)

Some of our RVs may be equipped with a GPS tracking device for safety and theft recovery. We access location data only as permitted by California law, for example when an RV is stolen or missing, has not been returned after its scheduled return time, or in response to an emergency or a request from law enforcement. We do not use location data to track your trip or to impose fines or surcharges.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, our website host (Wix.com) automatically records basic technical information. This includes your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to run and secure the Site.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

answer your questions and send you quotes;

match you with the right RV and confirm it fits your campsite;

book, deliver, set up and pick up your RV;

contact you by phone, email or text about your inquiry or rental;

verify drivers, meet insurance requirements and handle deposits, damage claims and disputes;

recover a stolen, missing or unreturned RV;

keep the Site working and secure and prevent fraud;

comply with the law and protect our rights.

We will only send you marketing emails or texts if you ask us to. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe. You can stop texts at any time by replying STOP.

3. How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We do not share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with:

Service providers that help us run our business, such as Wix.com (website hosting and forms) and our email and phone providers. They may use your information only to provide services to us.

Booking and rental platforms such as Outdoorsy, RVshare and RVezy, when you book through them or through the booking calendar on our Site.

Insurance providers, when needed to cover a rental or handle a claim.

Campgrounds and event organizers, only as needed to deliver and set up your RV at your reserved site.

Law enforcement or other parties, when the law requires it, to recover a stolen or unreturned RV, or to protect the safety and rights of our guests, our business or others.

A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or merged.

Outdoorsy and the other platforms handle your information under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them.

4. Cookies, "Do Not Track" and third-party tracking

Cookies. The Site uses only the cookies our website host, Wix.com, needs to run the Site securely, for example to keep the Site stable and prevent fraud. We do not use advertising, analytics or social media tracking cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site may not work properly.

Booking calendar. When you use the booking calendar on an RV page, it is provided by Outdoorsy. Outdoorsy may set its own cookies and collect information under its own privacy policy.

Do Not Track. Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. We do not track visitors across other websites over time, so our Site works the same way whether or not your browser sends this signal.

Tracking by other companies. Apart from the Outdoorsy booking calendar described above, we do not allow other companies to collect personal information about your online activities over time and across different websites through our Site.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. Rental records are kept as long as needed for insurance, tax, legal and dispute purposes. Inquiries that do not lead to a rental are deleted when we no longer need them.

6. How we protect your information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures to protect your information. Our Site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Drivers must be at least 25 years old. A parent may tell us their children's ages to help us choose the right RV. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your choices

You can ask us at any time to:

see the personal information we hold about you;

correct information that is wrong or out of date;

delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal, insurance or tax reasons or to complete a rental;

stop sending you marketing emails or texts.

9. California privacy notice

This policy is posted under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ 22575–22579). Under California's "Shine the Light" law (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.83), California residents may ask whether we share personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share personal information for that purpose.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and change the effective date at the top. If we make a significant change, we will place a notice on the Site.
